The Adoption Process

Contact us and we will email you our application form. Once you fill that out, we will chat about the glider(s) you are interested in and (if you need/want) I will help you get your set up ready and give you any info you need on diet, etc.

 

A 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will be required in order to hold your joey(s).

Before the gliders leave on the transport, I require the FULL payment for the glider(s). I will consider payment plans in rare cases.

Please note that the price listed is for PET ONLY gliders. If you are interested in breeding, let us know and we can give you the breeding price (typically $200ish depending on the genetics).

Otherwise, all males will be neutered before leaving us (there is a $50 fee for neutering). Females will be sold as pet-only. We will not sell our girls to homes where they will be in contact with unlineaged, unneutered males.

 

For the health of our animals, we only sell our gliders in pairs UNLESS you already have a glider(s) or are getting another glider within a few weeks of getting our glider. We understand that it can be financially straining to purchase more than one glider, but they are social animals and suffer physically and mentally when they aren’t in pairs (or more!)

 

If you purchase two or more gliders from us, there will be a $50 discount on each added glider.

Which Glider(s)?

Don’t know which glider(s) to choose? We are happy to help you pick a glider that is best suited to your needs. Our joeys (and their parents!) are hand-tamed and socialized nightly as well as carried in bonding pouches during the day.

We can send lots of pictures, share the different personalities of our joeys, and even do video chats so that you can choose the best joey for your home.  

(For the safety of our gliders, we do not allow guests into our breeding areas.)

Transportation

If you are outside of Florida, we can arrange a USDA approved transport to get your gliders to you. There is a $200 fee that must be paid before gliders leave us. The cost doesn’t increase based on the number of gliders that you are purchasing.

I am always up for meeting part way. I can drive up to four hours from Jacksonville, Florida. I am happy to work something out. :)

Your glider(s) will come with their sleeping pouch, transport cage and a safe, foraging toy at no additional price.

Support

Owing gliders can be challenging. Whether it’s a sick glider or a question on diet or anything in between, it can be hard to find good information. We will always be here to support you, though out the life of your gliders. If we don’t know the answer to a question, we’ll research and study until we know how to best help you. We love to help suggie slaves and can always be reached on Facebook, by email, or text (I rarely answer my phone unless I know the number).
