DIY Shot Glass Forager

Welcome back to An Inky Dream! Today I will be doing another DIY. This is super simple and your gliders will have a blast playing with it.

The colors that I used for this toy are not ideal. I wish I would have done them all in blue beads instead of using the orange, but I ran out of blue half way through, so I had to improvise. LOL.

What You’ll Need

  1. Two shot glasses with holes in the center of the bottom

  2. Beads of varying colors

  3. Craft lace (DO NOT USE STRING)

  4. A c-link

  5. A noise maker

Start off by tying the craft lace to the end of the mini maraca. You’ll have to do several knots and pull them tight. Craft lace is tricky to get tied securely.

Add several of the beads in any pattern or color that you wish.

Then thread the shot glass through so it looks like this.

Add half of the remaining beads.

Add the second shot glass and the remaining beads.

Finally tie the C-link securely at the end of the beads.

And there you have it! Hang this up in the cage. Hide treats in the cups or fill them with straws or fleece as a reset toy.

Where To Buy….
